Overview:
Enable your customers to donate to a cause set by you or chosen by them. The Customer Add-On widget allows your shoppers to easily make an impact with each purchase, all while building customer loyalty by showing your customers that your brand’s values align with theirs.
How It Works:
Before you begin, ensure you have excluded your Customer Add-On product from discounts!
- After you’ve completed the required fields in your Global Settings, select Campaigns from the left side menu and select Add-On Donations as seen below:
- Click on Turn On from the Campaign Status section, and confirm your change:
- Navigate to the Widget Settings tab from the Add-On Donation campaign page:
- Select a Widget Placement from the menu pictured below to view the Customer Add On widget on your storefront!

- Be sure to Save your changes!
What to Expect:
Activation of the Customer Add On campaign will also create an Add-On Donation product in your Shopify store.
- You may update the image, title, and description associated with the product.
- IMPORTANT: Do not delete the product or remove any product tags or product types - this information is used to properly account for the donation in our system when it is included in a purchase!
