This will cover how you can remove the cause search option for customers when selecting a cause during the checkout process.
As a store owner, you have the ability to set featured causes to encourage customers to support your favorite causes. When using the Let your customers choose giving experience in your Global Settings, the customer always has the option to search and select their own cause by default, but we understand that you may have specific causes that align with your brand.
You can still allow your customers to select their own cause, but you now also have the option to remove the search bar, which means that customers can only select one of your featured causes to support. Please note that in order to remove the search bar, you must have at least one featured cause set.
If you are using the Donate to causes you set and manage by product giving experience in your Global Settings, the cause search will automatically be turned off.
How It Works
To turn off the search, you will need to go into the Change Commerce app and click on the Campaigns drop-down button, and select Store Donation on Purchase:
Next, select the Widget Settings tab:
From here, scroll down until you reach the Function Settings section. Please note that the search bar is going to be turned on by default. To turn off the search bar, uncheck the box next to Search bar. Remember to click Save to reflect your changes!

Once you uncheck the “Search bar” box, the featured cause selection pop-up will instead look like this. Now you can fully support your favorite causes and give back to the nonprofits that you love most.
