This is a general overview of your ShoppingGives account to help you get started.
Overview
Whether you are a shopper, retailer, or a nonprofit, with a ShoppingGives account you will be able to track your individual impact easily and seamlessly. While Shoppers can track their donations with our impact partners, retailers can see which nonprofits their customers are choosing to support and can measure their donation metrics against their baseline. In addition, nonprofits can see which retailers are giving back and making a difference for their organization. By connecting shoppers, retailers, and nonprofits together, we believe that we can empower change and create impact, one purchase at a time.
Shoppers
With a ShoppingGives Shoppers account, you have access to see all of your generated donations so that you can track your impact across all of our impact partners. Through your account, you can even stay up-to-date with ShoppingGives and learn how to find new stores that will give back on your behalf. You also have the ability to set a favorite cause so that every time you are shopping with one of our impact partners, whether you know it or not, your cause of choice will automatically be preloaded and ready to make an impact! How to Create an Account
- Visit ShoppingGives.com
- Click Sign Up in the menu bar on the homepage
- Select “Shopper”
- Either sign up through Facebook, Google or create an account manually with your email address
Retailers
As a retail partner of ShoppingGives, you have the ability to track your donation metrics in the backend of the Change Commerce app. This includes donation AOV, activation rate, and top nonprofits that your customers choose to support. This allows you to measure your donation metrics with your average daily metrics and compare how orders with donations stack up against orders without.
How to Create an Account
- Visit ShoppingGives.com
- Click Sign Up in the menu bar on the homepage
- Select “Business”
- Fill out the form and a member of our team will reach out to you with next steps and be available to answer any questions that you have!
Nonprofits
As a nonprofit, you have the ability to track donations that have been generated for your organization. Through our partnership with PayPal Giving Fund, you will receive funds from ShoppingGives on a quarterly basis, if applicable. If you have a PayPal Giving Fund account already in place, you will receive your funds as usual. If you do not have an account, you will be notified that you have funds that need to be claimed and will be prompted to easily create an account.
How to Create an Account
- Visit ShoppingGives.com
- Click Sign Up in the menu bar on the homepage
- Select “Nonprofit”
- Search for your nonprofit either by name or individual EIN number
- Since we disburse donations through PayPal Giving Fund, you will receive your funds through this account
- If you do not have a PayPal Giving Fund account already set up, you will be prompted to create an account
