While we hate to see you go, we still want to help you in all aspects of our app— even through uninstalling. If you are only wanting to temporarily discontinue use of the Change Commerce app, you can Pause donations as needed and Resume donations when you are ready to begin giving again.
Please note that if you would like to deactivate donations or uninstall the app altogether, you will be invoiced for any outstanding donations immediately.
If you wish to deactivate the Change Commerce app, please follow these steps:
1) Log in to your Shopify Store Admin
2) Navigate to App > Change Commerce
3) Navigate to Manager: Global Settings
4) Navigate to the bottom of the page
5) Click "Deactivate" button
6) Click "Deactivate" button again in confirmation modal
If you wish to uninstall the Change Commerce app, please follow these steps:
1) Navigate to Apps
2) Find the "Change Commerce" application
3) Click the "Delete" link for "Change Commerce"
4) Select a reason for deleting (optional)
5) Click "Delete" button again in confirmation modal
If you wish to pause the Change Commerce app, please follow these steps:
Please note that by pausing the Change Commerce app, you will still have the app installed to your store, and donations from your store will be stopped until you choose to resume giving. Your donation widgets will no longer be visible on site, and an invoice will not be triggered.
- Log in to your Shopify Store Admin
- Navigate to App > Change Commerce
- Once the app opens, you’ll be brought to the main dashboard
- In the right-hand corner you will see an “App Status” indicator
- To pause donations, click the drop-down arrow and select “Pause Giving”
- From the pop-up, click Pause
- You should now see that the App Status indicator shows a status of “Paused”
- To resume giving, click the drop-down arrow and select “Resume Giving”
